Our World Tuesday - A short walk on a long pier

Took a short walk on a long pier this weekend – as you can see! This is Swan Bay Jetty, about 2 hours from Melbourne. The Crested Terns sat on the rails for a while but most of the other birds took flight.

You can find more pictures at Our World Tuesday.

Hope you enjoy them!

That is a very long and very narrow pier, it would feel like 'walking the plank' I think!
At least you had one obliging bird.

What a great jetty. I could sit there for hours enjoying the deep blue sea.

Such a long jetty - and that crested tern looks like he needs a haircut!

Love this perspective of the pier! It seems to reach out and control the water! And love that cutie in the final photo!

Hmm, there could be some good deep water fishing there. Nice look at the tern.

Don't think I would want to walk there on a windy day :) Popular spot for the birds as well by the looks of it lol. Thank you for sharing.

Nothing like a jetty stretching off into the blue sea against the blue sky!! Don't know about you - but I need a rail to hang on to!!
