Macro Monday - Buried Treasure.

I took this picture on the afternoon of Christmas day – I was drawn to the range of textures in the scene. It’s rough, smooth, hard, shiny and soft all at the same time.

You can find more macro shots at Macro Monday.

You can see the most recent post to my other blog by clicking on the Paying Ready Attention image on the RHS of the page.

Enjoy the close ups and welcome to 2012.

What an interesting find. It is my kind of shot, and I love it. Something mundane and simple, yet so very fascinating. Your macro capture is excellent. genie

Nice contrasting textures! It is something that would have caught my eye as well.

You wonder where it's been and if it was left there by a fisherman, or if it washed ashore from some distant land.

My link for today: RAINDROPS on ROSES - a few of my favorite things!

Happy New Year...

Great picture that I would have just walked on by...well no I wouldn't. I'd pick up the clip, stick it in my pack and never given a thought as to have taken the photo you did. Well done.

Wow a walk on the beach Christmas Day - How cool. - I like the textural contrast too and the wonderful red color against the sand.
Happy New Year!
