Recently I obtained some UV sensitive beads - these beads change from a pale cream to a range of bright colours when they are exposed to UV light. In bright sunshine this only takes a few seconds. Over the next few minutes the beads turn back to there ghostly original colour.
Given that the UV comes from the Sun and the Sun is up in the sky (!) I'm posting this today for Skywatch Friday!

I must get some of these. I'm easily amused.
This is absolutely new thing for me...

A bit of a stretch but cute.
Dit is wel heel leuk.
I like it!! I look at it as a creative use of the challenge :)
HI Stewart How wonderful. I think children would love to see that. Thanks for sharing

Dimi...
amazing what happens here on earth beneath the sky with it's bright luminary! Fun beads…. my kids would have loved them when they were little… and why should we grown ups enjoy them too:-)
My granddaughter would love to make a necklace with those!
Very interesting!
Never heard of them before.
Have a wonderful week-end!

Have a happy day..
Nice photos!
Greetings, RW & SK
These would be perfect here in Florida don't you think? And we are geeky enough to enjoy them (I'd send them to our great-grandkids, but they live in Oregon now and they won't see sunshine for a few months ;>)!
Also, I always enjoy your Skywatch "cheats." I felt like I was cheating a little bit on my last WBW post because it was more about the cat than the bird, but I hoped people wouldn't mind!
How interesting and so beautiful. Love the colors!
It may just be my A.D.D., but I find it very interesting! It would be cool to have clothing that changes colors like this.
What great little beads!
