The Nobbies

Down at Phillip Island there are two islands that collectively are known as The Nobbies - apparently because the look like two islands in Scotland with the same name.

Well, I am in no position to comment on such similarities - maybe somebody out there can pas judgement!  All I know is that the sea was rough, the air crisp and that I could have stood and watched for much longer than I did!

Yep, you reminded me it's mid-winter where you are, and these incredible shots (along with the ones on the previous post) are just amazing for winter! Wow! OK, so it would be a little cold to go for the seaside walk, but it sure looks like it's worth it!

The white horses look great charging onto the green land.

Ahh, alas, the Nobbies ... I have been waiting for this post. Now I know what you are talking about. They look like a Nobbie should look, don't you think? I love the foam and turbulence of a rough sea. Another set of wonderful pictures from you ... thanks, Stewart.

I "ooh"ed and then "ahh"ed outloud at those crashing waters.
I agree, a scene & setting like this would have quite a pull on me. I'd want to stay a while!
