Lilly Pond

I found this patch of lilies in the Royal Botanic Garden - another example of a picture taken by lying on my stomach in public!  Its at times like this that my family walk away, pretending that they don't know me!

You can find more shots from around the world at Our World Tuesday.  SM

  2. I do the same, Stewart!
They are beauties. I've never seen water lilies with serrated leaves like these, all of our water lilies have smooth edge leaves or "lily pads." :)

  8. They are quite something. I am convinced that when I see people taking photos from strange angles that they are probably bloggers.

  14. Laying down, now why don't I do that rather that the awkward crouching that sometimes looks like I am doing something else you shouldn't in public. Lovely lilies.

  23. It is a beautiful shot, at least to us you did a good job, despite your family's abandonment, hahaha! That is the reason it is always lovely to travel with photo hobbyists. They all do amusing and unusual things!
