On the Beach

These are some more shots of the beach at Coles Bay in Tasmania - I do have a bit of a fondness for these kinds of micro-landscapes.

  7. There really is something about driftwood on the beach that sends my imagination soaring. (This is not something I see much of here in Florida, but on the Pacific Coast in Oregon we definitely do. And I'm missing it!)

  18. Pretty....we don't have ANY sort of elevation such as you show here...on our beaches. We're lucky to have hilly dunes. I'd like some 'rocky' shoreline tho.

  19. Beautiful sandy beach. Except on a few island shores nearby, all of our beaches are rocky due to the glaciers that dropped their loads after melting 10,000 years ago. - Margy
