Sooty Skies

These birds are Sooty Terns (Sterna fuscata) and the big blue thing behind them is the sky!

I like the simplicity of these pictures.

  20. The terns are wonderful ... And there are no doubt a few winter-weary people who have almost forgotten that big blue thing in the background. If we still spent the winter in Oregon, I'd be one of them.
