A walk in a garden

The Lodhi Gardens in New Delhi cover about 90 acres of land and is populated with people, palm squirrels and lots and lots of monuments.  I went for a walk there on my 'recovery' day, prior to starting work the next day, on my recent trip to India.  I was rather slack on keeping notes of what was what and who was who - so, here are some pictures just to give a feel of the place.

You can find more shots from around the world at Our World Tuesday.

  1. Some interesting buildings there. I see worn grassy areas - I guess people don't keep to the pathways.

  3. I'm quite happy that you didn't take notes on a recovery day -- you really shouldn't have worked at all. Just walking and observing has to be a great way to recover from jet lag. But I am glad you took photos and thank you for sharing.. it must be a great respite place for locals too -- can't be as crowded as towns and residential streets must be.
