We tend to overlook them as we go forth seeking rarities. The House Sparrow is definitely a case study in survivalism!

Hope all is well with you and your family. Unbelievably, I never saw one in our Florida wetlands patch or our adjacent back yard over the 18 years we lived there. Likewise, in our new home here in Connecticut, they have not yet appeared in our feeders as we are surrounded by hardwood forest.Kenneth Cole Schneiderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13034897745614006325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5613882486442283643.post-89470202032280584842022-04-06T05:06:15.849+10:002022-04-06T05:06:15.849+10:00Sparrows are a dime a dozen here..cute little bird...Sparrows are a dime a dozen here..cute little birds..Did not know that they were in the finch family..This N Thathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14660035693962636210noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5613882486442283643.post-87329830299960651712022-04-06T04:58:13.478+10:002022-04-06T04:58:13.478+10:00I love them and we have so many here in France.
