Another school event, another evening sky. There was only the thinnest line of colour in sky when we came out of the musical evening.
But the texture in the clouds more than made up for the lack of colour.
I get the feeling anybody who says that dark clouds are grey needs to take a second look!

ReplyDeleteWe're so conditioned by the 'right' colours for objects - clouds are grey, trees are green, the sky is blue! All true - but not always!! Unless you've been playing with photoshop, of course ....!!

ReplyDeleteVery expressive clouds and a lovely moon catch! Cloudy days are better for sky watching than just plain blue (and better yet than just plain gray).

ReplyDeleteI'm behind on returning comments right now. Re. the storm shots I posted last Tuesday: that's an automatic light house. The stairs are there for inspection purposes. Wouldn't it be awesome to be able to be inside it during a storm!

ReplyDeleteI managed to capture some of my favourite sunsets for Skywatch Friday... the beach & boats just set it off... and the lovely weather that day (shame about the rest of the weekend... and missing the lunar eclipse was a shame)
