Trafalgar Square

There are many famous things to be seen in Trafalgar Square in London.

None of them appear in this post!

As every, I looked elsewhere!

Clearly I was not the only one not looking at the famous or the iconic!

You can find more shots from around the world at Our World Tuesday.

  1. That is well past pot belly, more like an exploding cauldron.
I've never heard of a blue rooster before but if it has anything to do with fast food, it could well carry some of the responsibility for all the blubber around.

PS not charitable at all, just holding myself back from a number of expletives.

  10. Oh God I am terribly afraid I know where that tourist in the first picture is from ... and I am so sorry to have inflicted that on you! The kids with the phones could I'm sure be from anywhere -- that's universal these days.

Loved the rooster. I'll have something similar (plus a real bird or two) in my post tomorrow for WBW (if our wi-fi luck holds out).

  15. That is such an intriguing juxtaposition of an elegant statue and reality. Also found the bottom photo indicative of modern life … looking into screens instead of what is around us. :)

  17. Marie told us that the plinth with the blue rooster is likely to be the spot where QE II's statue will go one day. For now she said it's for modern art.
