At least my reason for being busy this week is the activities of my own family! Concerts, choir performances, dance rehearsals and shows and so on and so on!
So, as a brief macro post - I give you this: an candle powered music machine! The melody is a little repetitive, but it its rather seasonal! And the snow on the tree is all I will see!
You can find more macro shots at Macro Monday 2 and I Heart Macro.
So are you saying that it doesn't snow in Australia? Really, even in the winter? How do you tell it is winter other than colder and drearyer (not sure that is a word :)
ReplyDeleteI love your music machine and only wish we could hear the music. Would also love to hear the Christmas Music you are hearing at your children's concerts and rehearsals. Christmas does become a wonderful family time ... so glad you are busy enjoying it.

:O)
ReplyDeleteDelightful ornament.
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat music machine! Love the candlelight.. Have a happy week!
ReplyDeleteI love it, Stewart!! Beautiful ornament for the season!! Enjoy your new week!!
ReplyDeleteI am sure you will see lots of snow shots from bloggers knew deep in snow!! Love the decoration with the candles.
ReplyDeleteThat's really neat!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas. I have that same chime candle holder.
ReplyDeleteThat's a neat-looking music machine!
ReplyDeleteNice to see you have one too. I am rather more traditional with ours only lighting the candles one at a time for the four Sundays of Advent. Traditionally it is red candles for Advent and white candles on the Christmas tree. We also had sparklers on our tree, they were called wonder candles and still recall the thrill of seeing these sparkling stars reflected in the glass baubles.
ReplyDeleteSuch happy times with your children involved in so many events. So much more important to enjoy them to the fullest, blogging will still be there after Christmas.
Stewart ook jij een hele fijne kerst.
ReplyDeleteFestive and pretty!
ReplyDeleteThe candle chimes are cute, the angels are flying so fast I can't see them but that's usually the case with angels.;-) The little tree, teddy bear sleigh, and Santa are cute.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a good time and maybe you will be able to see some snow! I know that in some areas you can even do some cross -country..even in Australia!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool! Wishing you a very happy holiday season with all the going, doing and being with loved ones. Thanks for sharing the love up-close with I Heart Macro Stewart:-)
ReplyDeleteCreates the right mood :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's delightful!
