So, I'm going to cut myself some slack this week and just post some pictures of one of my favourite birds - The Pied Oystercatcher from my recent trip to Tasmania. No taxonomy. No attempts at artful phrases. Just pictures and a hope that you will continue to join in. SM
Most of you will know that pretty much all you need to do is click the blue button and off you go.

ReplyDeleteThey are great. That must be fun to watch them eating.
ReplyDeleteHandsome birds. Thanks for hosting, Stewart!
ReplyDeleteA confused Pied Oystercatcher ... for that is surely not an oyster he is hanging on to for dear life. Doesn't take away from what a handsome bird he is, but maybe you should have given him a hand and helped him find a real oyster.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit I miss your pertinent comments and apropos banter, but I do agree after 135 weeks in a row, you are entitled to a bit of a break. And, not to worry, we will still be around next week and the next and the next. You will have to try harder if you want us to go away, Ha! Be well, Stewart.
