I may be cheating a bit here, but as I can see the sky in these pictures I post them today!
When I was down at Apollo Bay I was playing with the camera on my phone - some of the things that these cameras can do are remarkable. Although I don't feel any imminent need to sell my DSLRs!
These do need to be clicked on to see them at their best.
You will find lots more shots of the sky, and probably lots more sky at SkyWatch Friday. SM

Great pix..Small sky and all, Stewart!!!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteNice panos! Yes, the cameras in today's smartphones are pretty amazing, but I still like my DSLR better.
ReplyDeleteOoo boy! Your comment in your post zero-ins right on my next upcoming post.

Pretty pano shots... but glad you're not selling your DSLRs!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely panoramic shots!
ReplyDeleteyeah...keep the dslr *wink*
ReplyDeleteThree cheers for the phone camera ... I sometimes think my phone takes better pictures than my SLR and the good thing is that it is always with me. No more feet stomping tantrums because I missed a great shot for the lack of a camera. It does have it's limitations, but you would be surprised how many pictures I have posted from my phone ... and your phone has apps that will do very cool edits (if you can figure them out ... being an old poop, I don't get very far with it :) Great shots ... Be well, Stewart ...

Wonderful contrast, Stuart. That green and blue are a favorite combination of mine when I make cards..Love the darker effect as well...maybe not intentional?
ReplyDeleteStunning panoramas!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful area that appears to be...and as usual you've captured it perfectly. :)
ReplyDeletePretty place; I haven't really tried playing with my phone camera yet -- so many new things to learn!!! My sky today is more like a backdrop, but it is definitely there.
ReplyDeleteFew sky, but a great area and beautiful photos. A phone camera can not reach a DSRL, optical laws are stronger than phone cam developer.
