Egret in Fading Light

These are some shots of an Intermediate Egret (I think) in some rather nice late afternoon / evening light.

I saw this bird on a cruise around Yellow Water, which is a fabulous area of the Kakadu National Park in the Northern Territory, Australia.







I like the way the light is catching the outstretched feathers.

    You just LIKE the way the light is catching the outstretched feathers ... these are gorgeous. You should blow at least one if not all of them up and frame them. Do you have any of your magnificent pictures hanging on your walls at home? If you don't, you should. Maybe even do a show or sell them in a gallery. These are among you best, Stewart.
