Rainbows at Lorne

We spend last week in the hills behind Lorne - which is a town on the Great Ocean Road, a few hours from our house.  We arrived to be greeted by this rainbow.  In fact one formed in more or less the same place the next day as well.

I don't think it was a sign, but the whole trip was pretty relaxed.

I have to say, that for snap shots phones are pretty impressive cameras these days!

You can find more shots from around the world at Our World Tuesday.

  6. I think I 'clinched' my finance when I stopped my truck, got out, one day just to enjoy a double rainbow.

  7. Really I'm not superstitious, but I'd believe those beautiful rainbows were an omen that it would be a perfect getaway! And obviously it was. Wonderful.

  10. I love the double rainbow. It seems such a long time since I have actually seen a rainbow as we haven't had any decent rain for months.
