This really is a Friday sky!
I can’t help but wonder where this plane was going.
For reasons I dont understand I cant upload this iamge in landscape format - so you can see what it should really look like by clicking here.
You can find more sky shots at FridaySkys.
You can see the latest post to my other blog by clicking on the Paying Ready Attention image of the RHS of the screen.
Enjoy the skies.
Nice capture!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blue sky and I love the vapor trail! I posted one today also! Hope you have a great weekend, Stewart!
ReplyDeleteSylvia
a simple but perfect photo!
ReplyDeleteThere really is something super about a vast blue sky... EVERYONE should look up more! Lovely capture... i posted cloud photos a while ago... dreamy. :-)
ReplyDeleteVery nice. Like that title "my other blog" ..... :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice photo.
ReplyDeleteRegards and best wishes
I suppose a steady diet of gorgeous blue skies could get as monotonous as a steady diet of gray ones (as in Oregon in the winter)...but I'd rather have the blue! I like this picture turned or not.
ReplyDeleteOh, gee. I thought it was about to crash Stewart! Glad you directed us to the right way up;) I love a clear blue sky! Great shot. Blooger has been doing weird things lately!
ReplyDeletesounds like the great school to provide fun activities for the students, although it was hot, I can see the sky was clear and blue ~
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderfully blue sky!
ReplyDeleteHi Stewart! well certainly it was a lovely blue sky.
ReplyDeleteWhen the orientation won't work, try sitting your image centre of a 'wider' frame, and saving, rather than uploading as is.
It seems to happen if an image is too narrow on one of its sides.
Hello,
ReplyDeleteI came here through Skywatch Friday.
Loved the jet line on the clear blue sky.
Have a nice day :)
Nice capture... I even like the orientation on the photo. Happy skywatching!
ReplyDeleteThe silver of a jet trail against a bright blue sky always makes for a nice photo!
ReplyDeleteGreat capture Stewart! Beautiful blue sky and I love the vapour trail.
