Jet Sky - SkyWatch Friday

Last Friday there was a gathering at school in the evening; races for the kids, face painting and a BBQ. The evening was very hot – and we were glad when then sun went down. There was a solid blue sky and very little colour - so I had to come up with another sky shot.

This really is a Friday sky!

I can’t help but wonder where this plane was going.

For reasons I dont understand I cant upload this iamge in landscape format - so you can see what it should really look like by clicking here.

You can find more sky shots at FridaySkys.

You can see the latest post to my other blog by clicking on the Paying Ready Attention image of the RHS of the screen.

Enjoy the skies.

  6. I suppose a steady diet of gorgeous blue skies could get as monotonous as a steady diet of gray ones (as in Oregon in the winter)...but I'd rather have the blue! I like this picture turned or not.

  10. Hi Stewart! well certainly it was a lovely blue sky.

When the orientation won't work, try sitting your image centre of a 'wider' frame, and saving, rather than uploading as is.

It seems to happen if an image is too narrow on one of its sides.
