Next Year's Vintage.

These are some more of the pictures I took while wandering around Stones on the Yarra while Sal warmed up for her choir singing.

It was cold (ish) damp underfoot and great to be out and about after a long week at work.  I look forward to seeing - and then tasting - some of the products of these plants in a few years!

You can find more pictures from around the world at Our World Tuesday.

Enjoy the pictures.

  3. Obviously they do mechanical picking, I wonder what the difference is in the final product.
I would have preferred to be outside too while my husband prepared for a concert, mo such luck!

  5. That is so strange to see for our vineyards are all leafed out, full, lush and green while yours are all done for their season.

  8. I love vineyards because I love wine (though I only drink the nonacholol versions) and I love grapes. As a kid, I used to steal the Concord grapes from my neighbor's vine (shhhh, don't tell) and I still buy them at the store when they are in season.

I also think your pictures are wonderful, especially the second one that shows the vines going down a hill and then all of the beaty beyond it. I am so glad you took over WBW because otherwise I would be missing all of your good stuff :) It is Memorial Day here, so take a moment to remember those who have served your country and have made the greatest sacrifice. Be well, Stewart ...
