Mud Islands? Maybe Not 2

Just a brief post!

This may be one of the stranger things I have found on a beach!

I have have to say that even Mud Islands has a better ring to it than "Lost Green Rubber Ring Island" - there was a football a little way down the beach, but it was collected before I got a shot.

The Ring was collected, deflated and taken home!

    Looks like a large lime lifesaver (as in the candy-kind)--which I guess it is when you think about it. :-)

    Funny that it stayed inflated.

    I need a recipe for a good Australian soup. My book club read The Light Between Oceans (takes place in Australia) and I'm hosting dinner. I'd like to do soup, salad and bread. So any special Aussie recipes you can share with me that would be appropriate. Thanks.

    It really does make one think of a large lime life saver. It was sitting there just waiting for you to come along and rescue it.

    They hung it on a bush so they wouldn't forget it. We always find odd shoes on the beach.
