Just a brief post!
This may be one of the stranger things I have found on a beach!
I have have to say that even Mud Islands has a better ring to it than "Lost Green Rubber Ring Island" - there was a football a little way down the beach, but it was collected before I got a shot.
The Ring was collected, deflated and taken home!
You can find more shots from around the world at Our World Tuesday.
Cheers - SM
Looks like a large lime lifesaver (as in the candy-kind)--which I guess it is when you think about it. :-)
ReplyDeleteI hope the person who was attached to that is ok!
ReplyDeletelooks like a great place to enjoy the beach :)
ReplyDeleteHi Stewart.
ReplyDeleteNice place on the beach.
I hope it goes well with the person to whom this belonged.
A nice week, Irma
Someone lost their beach toy. I am glad it was collected and deflated.. Happy March, enjoy your day and week ahead!
ReplyDeleteFunny that it stayed inflated.
ReplyDeleteI need a recipe for a good Australian soup. My book club read The Light Between Oceans (takes place in Australia) and I'm hosting dinner. I'd like to do soup, salad and bread. So any special Aussie recipes you can share with me that would be appropriate. Thanks.
someone's pool party just got a plus. :)
ReplyDeleteAh, yes!! I agree with Tex! A green plus for someone's pool!! Have a great week, Stewart!!
ReplyDeleteWow - that's a strange thing to find. I'm surprised it was just left there!
ReplyDeleteMade for a fun picture! Wishing you a good week, Stewart.
ReplyDeletea little pick-up for the kids
ReplyDeleteIt really does make one think of a large lime life saver. It was sitting there just waiting for you to come along and rescue it.
ReplyDeleteWhat an unusual sight! It's huge!
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy those Mud Islands of yours, and looking forward to hearing more about your travels state-side!
ReplyDeleteHa, I like "Lost Green Rubber Ring Island". Fun post.
ReplyDeleteUnexpected capture!
ReplyDeleteLooks a bit out of place there. I'm glad you gave it a new home.
ReplyDeleteSo, where is the Mud on Mud Island? Looks like sandy beaches to me. Great find Stewart. The treasure that everyone woule die for ... a green beach toy :) Have a great week ...

They hung it on a bush so they wouldn't forget it. We always find odd shoes on the beach.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it was remembered, found and collected.
