Beware of Seahorses?

Found this sign painted on the path in a local park.

I was confused - should I be aware of snakes as the text says, or seahorses as the picture shows?

Who knows?

  6. Assume the stencils are filed in alphabetical order so a slip of the hand maybe.

  9. Ha, ha! That does look more like a seahorse than a snake.

  10. Kind of fun! I didn't think seahorses are all that dangerous.

  11. I would prefere seahorses because they are more charming...

  12. It does look sorta like a seahorse. But I would say---use your brain--was the sign anywhere near the sea? Figure it out. MB

  14. Hmmm....The picture seems to say one thing, and the words another. So I guess, Beware of either, or both! LOL

  15. Ah, Stewart, you have a sharp eye to catch the humorous contradiction in that sign. Love the moon shots in the previous post as well. Hope to get back to your Wild Bird Wednesday meme soon.

  22. Now that at least gets attention, even if the seahorse snake may be some mythical creature.

  23. If I were in Australia I would definitely be wary of snakes, sea horses not so much.;-)
