What a year its been. I have been a little more widely traveled than normal and have seen so great wildlife - I have visited many great blogs and often felt more than a little jealous! And I have been encouraged and supported by the comments on this (and my wordy) blog.

ReplyDeleteHmmm, I was just thinking, as I pulled up your logo to head my WBW post ... I was thinking maybe it is time for Stewart to update his logo. And then you come up with a whole selections of pictures that would make marvelous logos for WBW ... and it would be like a fresh start in a new year. What do you think? Anyway, needless to say, all of your pictures and many that you didn't include in your favorites are favorites of mine ... You take such good pictures and explain so well. I can't begin to thank you for teaching me so much ... It is going to be hard for you to top what you have already done, but I have no doubt that you will do it. I do believe I even saw you do a little abstract this week, right? ... who knows what you will do next :) Happy New Year, Stewart.

ReplyDeleteA lovely selection Stewart. You found some good poses, especially the Crested Shrike-tit and the Puffins. Boy that fence post sure looks like one I know from Pilling but I'm not expecting to see a Kookaburra there, just a Barn Owl.
