Sea Sky

On a rather bumpy trip around the Freycinet Peninsula in Tasmania they sky was always changing - I hope hoped for albatross, but only got distant views (which may show up later this week!).

A few people got rather seasick, but thankfully I was not one of them!

As were on the way back I noticed this strange cloud formation over Schouten Island - I don't think I've seen anything like this before.



These pictures really do look much better when they are enlarged!

    Nice view of the coast, in the first photo the mountains disappear through the cloud.
    The second picture, I find that really sublime.

    I would have been one of those few people. I enlarged the photos as you said then tilted my laptop from side to side. It was just as if being there on board. erp!

    Very dramatic shots- I probably would have been one of the unfortunates who go sea sick..I don't do well with any moving vehicles..except for my rising lawn mower!

    You were very observant to notice the potential for these shots, and you've really made the most of them. Apart from being very good they also remind me of the boat trips that we used to take in South Devon on holiday as kids. I thank you for that.
