Fallen Flower

I tried to get out of my hotel room in the early mornings on my recent trip to Jakarta - it was hardly cool in the mornings, but it was considerably less hot than in the afternoon.

This fallen flower caught my eye.  I think that the flower is a frangipani - but I could be wrong.

One busy week of six completed, and I have a couple of days at home!

    yes, i just researched that bloom yesterday and called it by another name, plumeria. :)

    Jakarta sounds a lot like Florida this time of year. Mornings are hardly cool, but definitely less hot. I'm glad you are able to get outside a little bit and I'm glad you have some days at home.

    Yes Frangipani but the leaves aren't so I'm guessing it fell there.

    If it has an amazing fragrance I would also think that it is a frangipani.

    You're right with your ID...I recently lost mine to the winter cold even though I covered it. I've had one for a number of years and now it's gone! Lovely photo!
