I may have been a little too close to the pyrotechnics to get the best pictures - and research (after the fact) tells me I had my camera on all the wrong settings - but there are time when I simply could not give an stuff, and this was one of them.
So, here are a few pictures from my New Years's Eve / Day adventure.
For those of you that keep an eye on my comments, you will notice that I have included trees in the pictures - which is something I always like!
You can find more pictures from around the world at Our World Tuesday. Cheers SM

ReplyDeleteGreat shots of the fireworks! I've tried to photograph them before so I know what a challenge it is. You did good!
ReplyDeleteIt is much more exciting to watch the fireworks than to photograph them.
ReplyDeleteFun shots of a fun evening! I had trouble getting pics on our river cruise going into Budapest...all the lights against the dark black sky...and yep...I did all the wrong settings, and if I remember correctly...I even still had my polarizer filter on which I did remove as soon as I realized it!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Happy New Year Stewart!

ReplyDeleteLooks like you all had a great time. Happy New Year and thanks for linking me in. I am nearly home now from my trip to Malawi and Zambia, just waiting at Heathrow for my flight this afternoon but thanks for leaving me all the comments when I was away.
ReplyDeleteSo post your trees on Monica's "Trees and Bushes" meme(http://nfmacro.blogspot.com/2016/01/nf-trees-n-bushes-41-winter-home.html) . They are beautiful and once you start it you will notice every unusual tree or bush you encounter. These are wonderful pictures and much like many we have around here with the fireworks ... Happy New Year to you Stewart. Once again, we start anew ... Hope this year brings you many joys to remember it by.
