Interesting and different birds for me. (Not that seeing 'different' here is much of a surprise). Great action -- that one noddy is really giving 'what for' to the other in one picture! And the last with the stick (it looks like a tree for the poor bird to cart around).
No talking required Stewart. Now this is one bird I have never seen but would love it. These shots are superb. Thanks for hosting and as you can see I was able to link in myself. will be home later this week.
Hi Stewart the pictures and the Noddy's had me enthralled. I love the courtship and the nest building images. As always your photos are brilliant. Thanks for hosting this meme. I'll link my post to yours tomorrow (Wednesday) Greetings Jo
I really had a good laugh at the 3rd photo Stewart. He/she was really giving you a look of disapproval for taking the photo. Must've got out of the wrong side of the nest & not have had his/her morning coffee yet.
Hello Stewart!:) A great looking bird! Seems like a lot of squawking going on over that stick. It has made one Noddy look very angry pic 3, in fact if looks could kill!!!:))
Oh my, a classic husband and wife team ... nag nag, dirty looks then settling into working together. What an amusing bird with all of it's many looks and actually a bit handsome as well. So where do you find the Brown Noddy? Yet another bird I am not familiar with ... I am beginning to realize my ignorance but will continue to explore and enjoy just the same :)
Oh my gosh, did I ever laugh at your angry bird & the pictures following of them carrying about the sticks! Thanks for sharing & giving me a good laugh tonight!phyllis
Brilliant shots! Liked all of them!

ReplyDeleteThere's little to add Stewart. A really smart looking bird. I suppose the nearest thing to Brown Noddy we have is our Black Tern.
