Wild Bird Wednesday 475 - Parrots

Thought I'd start this WBW with a few brief quotation from two of my favourite books:

“It never hurts to keep looking for sunshine.” - Eeyore ('and parrots', he meant to add I'm sure)

“Nobody can be uncheered with a balloon.” - Winnie the Pooh (although I think he meant to say 'parrot')

“After all, one can’t complain. I have my friends.” - Eeyore ('who like parrots too' he added)

And with that, here are some parrots.

Crimson Rosella

Gang Gang Cockatoo

Little Corella

Major Mitchell's Cockatoo

Mulga Parrot

Musk Lorikeet

Northern Rosella

Rainbow Lorikeet

Orange Collared Lorikeet

Red-Tailed Black Cockatoo

Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoo

Splendid birds.  Its spring.  I need to get my act together.  Lock-downs be dammed.

  5. Lovely pictures of the parrots! We had one in the neighborhood who escaped, but luckily it was caught again. Here it is far too cold winters.

  11. It's funny to see these as wild birds because here they are caged only. They are beautiful.
