Last Johanna Sky (SkyWatch Friday)

Just a quick post this week – more skies from Johanna. The clouds in the first picture looked like they would produce rain – but it never really happened, just a few big drips and drops.

The “mist” in the second picture came in off the sea all the time – I just think you could only see it when the sun was low in the sky.

Children, dinner and the need to have an early night calls!

You can find more pictures of the sky at SkyWatch Friday.

You can see the most recent post to my other blog by clicking on the Paying Ready Attention image on the RHS of the page.

Enjoy the skies!

  2. Great pictures, great sky. That last one reminds me of the rolling hills in Eastern Washington (state) where we grew up -- it's wheat country and either the hills are brown or golden.

  5. I like the misty shot, Stewart. Well done! I hope you get lots of spring rain this year (so you don't have a drought later on).

  6. Why am I thinking Tobermory? I'm expecting little Irish leprechauns with tall hats to jump out from behind those gorgeous greenhills.
    What lovely fresh images

  7. Gorgeous sky with vibrant clouds and a green valley. It doesn't get much better. Beautiful. I could sit and watch that scene for a long time.

  10. I love them both! The rolling hills and the vivid green looks a bit like England to me. Both so beautiful!

  11. This one drew my attention. So beautiful, both. And a landscape that is not flat, has his plus points for photography. Coincidence or not, I was an avid birdwatcher.

  12. The second shot is mysterious and seductive!

    STARFALL

In the sky the stars shine bright
Not by day, but through the night.
Should the stars begin to fall,
There would be no sky at all!
