Last Johanna Sky (SkyWatch Friday)
Just a quick post this week – more skies from Johanna. The clouds in the first picture looked like they would produce rain – but it never really happened, just a few big drips and drops.
The “mist” in the second picture came in off the sea all the time – I just think you could only see it when the sun was low in the sky.
Children, dinner and the need to have an early night calls!
You can find more pictures of the sky at SkyWatch Friday.
You can see the most recent post to my other blog by clicking on the Paying Ready Attention image on the RHS of the page.
Enjoy the skies!

Gorgeous, peaceful views indeed, Stewart! Love the moody skies and the rich green color of the land! Delightful! Hope your week is going well!

just gorgeous scenes!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures, great sky. That last one reminds me of the rolling hills in Eastern Washington (state) where we grew up -- it's wheat country and either the hills are brown or golden.
ReplyDeletelove that second image ... beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh, love them both! That first one is a stunner.
ReplyDeleteI like the misty shot, Stewart. Well done! I hope you get lots of spring rain this year (so you don't have a drought later on).
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky.
ReplyDeleteSydney - City and Suburbs
Gorgeous! Happy skywatching!
ReplyDeleteWhy am I thinking Tobermory? I'm expecting little Irish leprechauns with tall hats to jump out from behind those gorgeous greenhills.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely fresh images
Gorgeous sky with vibrant clouds and a green valley. It doesn't get much better. Beautiful. I could sit and watch that scene for a long time.
ReplyDeleteTwo very good photos!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteGlocca Morra??
ReplyDeleteI've got myself confused now:-)
Time I turned in.
I love them both! The rolling hills and the vivid green looks a bit like England to me. Both so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis one drew my attention. So beautiful, both. And a landscape that is not flat, has his plus points for photography. Coincidence or not, I was an avid birdwatcher.
ReplyDeleteThe second shot is mysterious and seductive!
ReplyDeleteSTARFALL
In the sky the stars shine bright
Not by day, but through the night.
Should the stars begin to fall,
There would be no sky at all!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful skies and mountain photos.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
Love both of these the colours and atmosphere in them.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! Love the one with the mist over the hills.
ReplyDeleteTwo totally different moods captured, love the gathering clouds in the first one, and the mist in the second one.
ReplyDeleteLove these, just so peaceful, a desire of heart to visit a place like this one day~
ReplyDeleteLOOOOOVE that last photo ... maybe that's because it's such an amazing contrast to Outback RED!!
ReplyDeleteVery peaceful and scenic! :)
