Balloons - SkyWatch Friday


At this time of the year it is not unusual for us to find hot air balloons drifting over the house in the early morning. It must be a wonderful view from up there. A trip like this is on my ‘must do’ list – but there again so a lot of things!

The sky was very pale blue in the morning, so I could not get ant really rich colours, but I’m pretty happy with the results – especially as I was still half asleep!

    Such a sight full of romance and longing to be up there drifting on a gentle breeze . . . unfortunately one would not be drifting so very peacefully across the landscape at all with the roar of the flame above one.

    Lovely, pale skies and delightful balloons! I did get to take a balloon ride in California several years ago and it was fantastic! I did love being able to look the birds in the eye in their territory! Have a great weekend!

    I've always wondered what it would be like to be up in a balloon. I think I'm too old to want to do it now. :)

    I've never been in a hot air balloon, either. Looks like fun, but maybe a little scary!
