I have a real fondness for the slight light at the ends of the day.
These are a couple of shots taken at the end of the day around the waterfront in Perth. I am often surprised how still you can hold a camera when you really try!
You can find more skies at Sky Watch Friday.
What lovely light!ReplyDelete
The slight light at the end of the day is a beautiful thing indeed. Awesome captures Stewart.ReplyDelete
Very good images these Stewart, would hold their own against most, well done bud.ReplyDelete
I really like the light reflections in the water. Beautiful shotsReplyDelete
Stewart: These are such beautiful shots! Nicely done.ReplyDelete
absolutely brilliant !! I´am speechles !
Awesomely beautiful! I guess that's what they call the "Blue Hour" when the sky shows up such a beautiful indigo blue.ReplyDelete
Beautiful way to end a day, Stewart! Wonderful captures and such blue, blue skies!! Have a great weekend!!ReplyDelete
These are nice.ReplyDelete
Oh gosh Stewart, these are awesome!ReplyDelete
I like the little rosy glow on the horizon in the first shot, and the lights on the water in the second shot are magical.
I never use a tripod either, I have always wanted one, but it would be one more thing to lug around.
Very pretty! I find these night/evening shots so hard to take!ReplyDelete
the dark, inky blue is really lovely.ReplyDelete
Fabulous! I like the second shot with the reflections in the water.ReplyDelete
Yes, I'd say you know how to hold your camera. Excellent images. The dark blue water is my favorite element of the scene.ReplyDelete
wat een heerlijke sfeer en dan die weerkaatsing in het water, geweldig.ReplyDelete
Hi Stewart You can tell you have not had a drink before taking these shots!!! The second shot is superb. Love the lights and reflectionsReplyDelete
I love that light!ReplyDelete
Lovely night shots! The reflections from the lighting is gorgeous. Have a happy weekend, Stewart!ReplyDelete
Oh my gosh I wish I could do that! (You lost me at holding the camera still.) Just beautiful.ReplyDelete
Beautiful shots Stewart, have a great weekend.ReplyDelete
Such deep blues.ReplyDelete
Lovely twilight shots ~ divine photo ~ carol, ^_^ReplyDelete
Sure looks like you used a tripod ... beautiful and clear. Now I can be jealous because I have wrapped my arms around things, backed myself against things, pressed my camera on my face until it hurts and I still get a shaky shot. Is that because I am old or are you just that good? Darn, you are good!!! Love it, Stewart!ReplyDelete
Andrea @ From The Sol
Excellent colors. Can't believe these are hand-held shots!!ReplyDelete
Great shots, Stewart!ReplyDelete
I'm always surprised as well.. I have good intentions, but never seem to remember to tote a tripod along with me anywhere I go. So I hold my breath. I brace myself. I do all kinds of tricks.. and if I'm really lucky, once in a while I get a shot to turn out almost as nicely as yours!!
Wonderful evening photos, Stewart.ReplyDelete
You must have an incredibly steady hand . The colours are breathtaking as are the reflections.ReplyDelete
Fabulous photos! such a great photographerReplyDelete
My New Post
Both pictures are amazing...ReplyDelete
You are such a terrific photographer.ReplyDelete
Is that your expertise as a job?
Love the light in these! :)ReplyDelete
I can't hold my camera that still anymore. I need a tripod, but don't want to carry it around.ReplyDelete
Great photos Stewart!
