Rainbows at Lorne

We spend last week in the hills behind Lorne - which is a town on the Great Ocean Road, a few hours from our house.  We arrived to be greeted by this rainbow.  In fact one formed in more or less the same place the next day as well.

I don't think it was a sign, but the whole trip was pretty relaxed.

I have to say, that for snap shots phones are pretty impressive cameras these days!

You can find more shots from around the world at Our World Tuesday.

Rainbows are worth capturing. I did the same this morning with a partial one that appeared at breakfast time.

I think I 'clinched' my finance when I stopped my truck, got out, one day just to enjoy a double rainbow.

Really I'm not superstitious, but I'd believe those beautiful rainbows were an omen that it would be a perfect getaway! And obviously it was. Wonderful.

I love the double rainbow. It seems such a long time since I have actually seen a rainbow as we haven't had any decent rain for months.
