A strange Moon

In an attempt to escape the heat of a summer day, we took a walk along the pier at Queenscliff.  There was a full Moon of a strange are rather wonderful colour.

I think it may have been caused by smoke in the air - but it could be just that it was damn hot!

You can find more skies from around the world at Sky Watch Friday.

(If I am not behind in my reply to comments by this time it will be a miracle!)

  15. Beautiful color. I know that sometimes great sunsets are caused by smoke in the air. But the sunsets are still wonderful.
