Post 834

Greetings - I have managed to get to post 834 before I post I picture of my own cat!  (The ones here and here don't count - they were not of my cat!)

One of the key reasons I have not posted any pictures of my own cat before today (and as far as I know posting pictures of your own cat on the internet is close to compulsory!) is that I did not have a cat!

All that changed with the arrival of Mr. Hudson - a rather large, middle aged cat, who we 'rescued' from the RSPCA about two weeks ago.  He now thinks he owns our house (he could be right) and has four human servants (he is right!).

So, my world this Tuesday - and for many tuesdays to come - will contain this wonderful old fur-ball!  If I am late replying to your comments from now on, it's the cat's fault!

Grumpy!

He purrs a lot, likes to hide under our bed and is slowly getting to know his new owners!

You can find more pictures from around the world here at Our World Tuesday.  SM

Mr Hudson has style and 'tude, as befits any feline of found variety!!! Methinks he requires at least one weekly post, if in fact not his own entire blog. As an elected official of BLOGVILLE, I am certain there is room for a new 'citizen'!!! YAM xx

  21. I always did like you and now I know why ... you have a big heart. Your life will never be the same with a furbaby now tampering with your every moment. Your children and wife must be ecstatic and Mr.Hudson has finally found a family. He is sweet and beautiful and, as you will find, full of fun and mysterious ways. I hope you are right and you do include him in your posts often. So happy for you and Mr. Hudson :)

  23. What a beautiful cat! he couldn't have come to a nicer family, I am guessing! And I just bet he knows it! :-) (You could also post your cat offerings on Eileen's Saturday's Critters!) I've noticed with wombats and other critters, you have a few now and again to post!

  25. He's very handsome and I'm sure there will be many more pictures to come..Looking forward to it..I have a 15 year old long haired cat..Just a heads up...For some reason, last year, I was unable to keep up with his Matting..He developed Kitty acne that I blame on stress..Apparently when they get matted, the matts pull on their skin and hurt..He was a little stand offish during that time..Did not enjoy being stroked..I finally had him shaved, poor thing..very traumatic for both of us BUT,,he's happy and loving again and has had no more kitty acne..Just saying :)..I wouldn't trade him for the world..
