Ghosts

I was in South Melbourne last month to listen to the Choir my wife sings in.  While I was waiting for the doors to open I found these ghosts on a local building.  I rather like the 'Top Hat Cough' line!

You can find more shots from around the world at Our World Tuesday.

Ghost signs! Now I get it! I see those on the sides of old buildings. Always fascinating to see what was advertised in bygone times.

My favorite is 'Rhubarb Pills for the Liver' Hopefully they used just the rhubarb stalk and not the leaves which are poisonous!
Have a great week!

Beautiful ghost sign! Fascinating by ghost signs and documenting the fading signage-murals of France.

...ghost signs are among my favorite thing to find. They are wonderful messages from the past.

What a history that building has! Never knew that RHUBARB Pills are for the liver!
Good to know, the rhubarb season has just started in our garden! :-)

A grand old pharmacy. I think traffic in cure-all nostrums is even heavier today than in the faded past!
