Sky with Corellas

There is beauty and there is change.  We still have beauty and we can hope for change.

Lovely bird-filled sky!
If we just look around we will see beauty everywhere, but so many people are oblivious to their surroundings. Too much time spent with their electronic stuff.
Here in the U.S. on Tuesday we elected a new president, and we are hoping that is a good change.

I bet they were noisy too.

Our big flocks recently have been of Brent Geese arriving from places like Russia. They fly over in wow-it's-this-time-of-year clouds, land en-masse then gradually disperse into smaller flocks once they've settled in.

Thank you Stewart. I took the words in your post as a sympathy card after our Election Day disaster. Even if you meant something else entirely the serenity pictured here soothed my spirit.
