Let Sleeping Dogs

I can never resist a walk on a pier or a jetty - they seem so inviting.  Even when nothing is really happening you can find something to look at.  I think this fine fellow had given up on the possibility of anythings happening a long time ago!

The most interesting thing to look at was some crazed photographer lying on his stomach pushing a lens up the nose of a dog!

This image makes me smile.

You can find more close up shots at Macro Monday 2 and I love Macro.

  2. Cute shot, Stewart! I guess the puppy dog did not mind the camera up his nose.

  4. Haverá sempre alguma coisa que fará despertar o nosso olhar.
Algumas vezes apenas olhando e sonhando no movimento do próprio cais...

  5. Sweet good natured dog ... lucky for you because it would be hard to jump up and run if he were to take exception to you sticking your camera up his nose ... But hay, what good photographer wouldn't take the risk. Love it, Stewart ... it exposes another layer of your character :)

  13. Good job he was a friendly dog. Not sure how I would respond to a camera up the nose!

  14. Hey, what else can you do while your human spends pointless hours leaning over a rail, holding a long stick and staring at the water?
