Over and Under

Just to prove I take picture at places other than Lord Howe Island - here are a couple of images from Sydney harbour.

The bridge and the opera house are justifiably famous - and I was keen to see if could get some images that I did not feel like I had seen them before.

The light cooperated, which is always nice.  The clown face in the second picture is the entrance to a 'old fashioned' park called Luna Park - in its own way it's as much of an icon as the rather more well known harbour features.

    Beautiful photos, Stewart..I would not have recognized the Harbor..Love the view in the first one..

    Recognise both of those but the light was not nearly so attractive when we were there. Wonderful shot of the harbour. Diane

    Perfect lighting!!! Love when nature cooperates!!! LOVE that first shot...but then, saw the second shot and I love that one too!!! Nice captures Stewart!!!

    Nicely found and shot.where did you shoot them from, a hotel window or drive by. It is so hard to find a spot at ground level.

    The sky colours make the shot really different. Definitely not a cliche photo. (Just been reading an article about on that topic.

    I remember when most waterfronts had a carnival or amusement park somewhere on it. but most I knew are gone now.. Love the light in the first.
