The day was a picture perfect early spring morning - dew on apple blossom and that kind of thing. I wanted to get something a little different.

Haha! Waving the camera about is one of my specialities too!! Hope everyone else 'gets' that this is a valid photo technique ...

hahaha, I've taken some pretty interesting and unintentional pictures with camera wave!
Same with me. I may get up extra early for my camera and think "this is madness". But once I am out there I then think "This was good". Nice photos.
Stewart that's perfect lighting in your first photo, the first shot you posted screams "Blow me up and frame me!" Fantastic job.

Very nice! ( I am a champion at 'waiting until that feeling goes away' when it comes to exercise. (I'm not proud of that and I'm glad you got up and went outside to play -- and that you took you camera!)

Awesome photos Stewart. I always think it's a bit crazy getting up too early on a Sunday to take photos, but sometimes they turn out to be my best images.
