I was gripped by the crazy idea that I should get early on Sunday and go for a walk. I normally lie down until such madness goes away, but this time I gave in got up!
The day was a picture perfect early spring morning - dew on apple blossom and that kind of thing. I wanted to get something a little different.
This is what I came up with:
You can find more pictures from around the world (and possible not one taken while waving the camera about!) at Our World Tuesday.
Enjoy the pictures.
Haha! Waving the camera about is one of my specialities too!! Hope everyone else 'gets' that this is a valid photo technique ...
ReplyDeletelove the first photo most, as to the last photo I think I am going to try that one of these days...quite cool! :-)
ReplyDeletehahaha, I've taken some pretty interesting and unintentional pictures with camera wave!
ReplyDeleteSame with me. I may get up extra early for my camera and think "this is madness". But once I am out there I then think "This was good". Nice photos.
ReplyDeleteStewart that's perfect lighting in your first photo, the first shot you posted screams "Blow me up and frame me!" Fantastic job.
ReplyDeleteCheers.
These are great shots, Stewart! It is fun to experiment with our cameras, isn't it? I do love love the first shot and it would indeed make a great framed shot!! Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the start of a beautiful day and well worth getting up for. :)
ReplyDeletei like the wet, green grass! :)
ReplyDeleteNice shots, Stewart! I sometimes struggle with the whole getting out of bed thing, too.
ReplyDeleteNot Blackburn in Lancashire is it? Far too sunny. Lovely shots as ever.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful morning!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteEarly mornings -- my favorite time! Lovely walk with your camera!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got up Stewart. Love that first shot, and the waving the camera about pic is cool!

ReplyDeletethe light in the first photo is beautiful. i wish i have this kind of madness, too.:p
ReplyDeleteVery nice! ( I am a champion at 'waiting until that feeling goes away' when it comes to exercise. (I'm not proud of that and I'm glad you got up and went outside to play -- and that you took you camera!)
ReplyDeleteCertainly not our Blackburn eh lad!
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures.
Awesome photos Stewart. I always think it's a bit crazy getting up too early on a Sunday to take photos, but sometimes they turn out to be my best images.
