We did the typical wandering about thing - colliding with craft stalls, live music and tempting smells.
For the first part of the day my eye was firmly in close up mode.
I found these two bicycle ornaments in the car park - the snail being attached to a three seater bike that H described as looking "dangerously home-made!" - he was correct.
I continued my (minor) fascination with locks and door bolts. I found this one as we were waiting to go into a show.
I wonder if the mark on the lock is where it has been hit with a chisel! P said it was smiling!
All in all a good day - more pictures tomorrow.
You can find more macro shots here at Macro Monday.
Enjoy the close ups.
Love the bike decor!

ReplyDeleteI need those bike ornaments for Buddy's yellow bike. They are tooooo cute And the lock...I am always taking pictures of locks. Why??? I do not have a clue. They just fascinate me. That shot is great. genie
ReplyDeleteThose are two of the cutest little adornments!
ReplyDeleteI really the lock shot! The more I looked at it the more I imagined the smile. It reminds me of the smiles on the Amazon boxes.
Great captures! The snail is just adorable!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant snail! And 'homemade' these days can't surely be any more dangerous than much of the junk that passes for 'new'!!
ReplyDeleteLove the snail! And the rest of your pictures. First time on your site, will definitely be back!

ReplyDeleteThat's where they make the beer right?
ReplyDelete"Dangerously homemade" and "smiling".. I love kids. :)
ReplyDeleteOften times, observing my own kids, I feel that kids are the ultimate macro lenses! They see things through an imaginative view that I hope I can always hang onto just a little.
Fun finds!
ReplyDeleteNice! I particularly like the homemade decoration welded to the bike. I hope it's on a lower tube and not on the top one. It could cause some real damage!
