We spent a rare night without the kids this saturday - a 50th birthday in 1970's theme! All I can say is that I hope the pictures never see the light of day!
The next morning I bumped into this fine looking beast - the sad part of the tale is that one of his siblings had been the guest of honour at the birthday feast the night before!
I did not have the heart to mention it!
You can find more pictures from around the world at Our World Tuesday.
Did anybody mention bacon?
Are you talking literally when you say 'bumped into him'? What a party!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a feast! Poor hog! Have a happy day and week ahead!
ReplyDeleteI hope this one makes it over Christmas?
ReplyDeleteA face only a mother could love!
ReplyDelete(I had a ham sandwich for supper last night).
Have a wonderful week!

A real "party animal"! :-)
ReplyDeleteHI Stewart I see he is laughing. Won't be laughing so much it he is the next one for the chop!!!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a happy birthday and that the her year brings you nothing but joy.
ReplyDeleteI love how you inject humor into your posts lol. Good of you not to mention what happened to his sibling :)
ReplyDeleteMy scariest wildlife encounter this year was with a gigantic Feral Pig, so I say 'eat up!' :)
ReplyDeleteHe looks like he's telling you off! LOL
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo of the pig.
ReplyDeleteI hope it was a nice birthday.
I wish you a nice week,
Greetings Irma
Poor Piggy soul ... he thinks you like him for his good looks and personality, while all of the time, you are thinking bacon. For shame, Stewart.
ReplyDeleteHe really is a cute personable pig ... I used to befriend the animals at my Uncles farm ... he was a butcher, so we all know where they ended up. Still doean't sit well with me until I sit down to a good juicy steak. Then suddenly I don't think about it .... hmmm. Have a great week,Stewart and Happy 50th if it was you :), or it not, to whoever it was ...
