Spider Web

It's that time of year here - spider webs in the morning and a fire in the evening.  There is even talk of snow in the mountains.

You can find more macro shots at Macro Monday 2 and I Heart Macro.

  4. You must have hardy spiders if they are just building their webs in the winter. Ours are long gone when it gets cold. But, I have to say that is a perfect spiderweb and you caught it with the perfect lighting. Good job , I say :)

  7. Although it's early summer here and for us it's hot - I prefer autumn and your post has made me homesick for a season.

  12. Brilliant Stewart! I tried to get a shot of a web this weekend, and it was an epic fail. I could use some snow, it's 37C here.

I have always marveled about the engineering feat of a spider web.

  18. I love cool Fall webs. The dew is upon them. It has been cool here for our time of year. Next weekend will be the start of summer and it is only 50F out I think that is 10C. Where's the sun??? MB

  19. Ahh, lovely web. I wish we were thinking "upcoming snows" here. Just too hot for me every summer!

I think I am going to start doing two separate bird posts for Bird d'Pot and Wild Bird Wednesday because I seem to be getting plenty of bird photos, now, plus your memes are several days apart. I think I will make a link back to my Bird d'Pot post just in case anyone wants to check it out that didn't see it. Several of the same birders enjoy belonging to both memes. I will get scheduling worked out! :-)
