You must have hardy spiders if they are just building their webs in the winter. Ours are long gone when it gets cold. But, I have to say that is a perfect spiderweb and you caught it with the perfect lighting. Good job , I say :)
I love cool Fall webs. The dew is upon them. It has been cool here for our time of year. Next weekend will be the start of summer and it is only 50F out I think that is 10C. Where's the sun??? MB
Ahh, lovely web. I wish we were thinking "upcoming snows" here. Just too hot for me every summer!
I think I am going to start doing two separate bird posts for Bird d'Pot and Wild Bird Wednesday because I seem to be getting plenty of bird photos, now, plus your memes are several days apart. I think I will make a link back to my Bird d'Pot post just in case anyone wants to check it out that didn't see it. Several of the same birders enjoy belonging to both memes. I will get scheduling worked out! :-)
lovely image. i could use a cool down! :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Somehow I've never been able to get a decent photograph of a spider's web.
ReplyDeleteFantastic capture and I do think spider webs are so beautiful, delicate and amazing! Thanks for sharing, Stewart! Have a great new week!!

ReplyDeleteDas Spinnennetz und die Fotografie, Glückwunsch dazu !
Although it's early summer here and for us it's hot - I prefer autumn and your post has made me homesick for a season.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot! Spider webs are wondrous; thanks for reminding us of that.

ReplyDeleteWow - very cool. I also captured a spider web this week, but not so clearly!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant Stewart! I tried to get a shot of a web this weekend, and it was an epic fail. I could use some snow, it's 37C here.
ReplyDeleteNice capture of the web!

ReplyDeleteI have always marveled about the engineering feat of a spider web.
Fantastic shot. although I don't like some of your poisonous spiders

Even though it doesn't get very cold here, we never see spider webs in the winter months. Nice pic!
