The Nobbies

Down at Phillip Island there are two islands that collectively are known as The Nobbies - apparently because the look like two islands in Scotland with the same name.

Well, I am in no position to comment on such similarities - maybe somebody out there can pas judgement!  All I know is that the sea was rough, the air crisp and that I could have stood and watched for much longer than I did!

You can find more pictures from around the world at Our World Tuesday. SM

  5. Yep, you reminded me it's mid-winter where you are, and these incredible shots (along with the ones on the previous post) are just amazing for winter! Wow! OK, so it would be a little cold to go for the seaside walk, but it sure looks like it's worth it!

  16. Ahh, alas, the Nobbies ... I have been waiting for this post. Now I know what you are talking about. They look like a Nobbie should look, don't you think? I love the foam and turbulence of a rough sea. Another set of wonderful pictures from you ... thanks, Stewart.
