Skies from Boronia Peak

In the last school holiday we spent a week in the Grampians - a wonderful part of western Victoria.  The weather forecasts were not great, but thankfully they were also not accurate!

We took up to the top of Boronia Peak where we were joined by building clouds and a bit later on, noisy teenagers.  I much preferred the clouds.

You can find more sky shots at Sky Watch Friday.  SM

  5. You lucky dog! I was hoping to get there this Spring but could not get anyone to drive me, can't do the distance on my own.

  13. Lovely shots of a lovely area. We didn't make it up to the top but my kids did. Accommodation was difficult to find and very expensive when we were there at Easter time some years ago.

  15. Gorgeous views -- sounds like your weatherpersons have some of the same problems as ours do -- although in this case, it was definitely to your benefit; glad you guys didn't let them scare you away from this beautiful scenery and landscape.
