Family struck down with some form of virus - not a happy team.
Here are some pictures from The National Gallery and The National Portrait Gallery.
The ones with the blurred people are not a mistake - I was trying to do something about calmness and movement.
sorry about the illness! some interesting art!
ReplyDeleteHello, love the art work. I hope the family is feeling better now! Happy Monday, enjoy the new week ahead!
ReplyDeleteI could do a handstand...if I wanted to...and I didn't mind being in bed for the next month
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it's a fascinating exhibition...much time could be pleasantly lost wandering around there.
ReplyDeleteI am drawn to the vibrant red, orange and green
ReplyDeleteHope the family is feeling better

The half face is kind of disturbing....but I liked the colorful painting.
ReplyDeleteNow I know what to say when my pictures are blurry !! "I was trying to do something about calmness and movement." Thanks for the tour..Beautiful artwork and great pictures of it!!
ReplyDeleteI love those first shots!
ReplyDeleteHope the virus soon goes away. I like some of these but not others! Cheers Diane
ReplyDeleteThat's quite an interesting exhibition Stewart. Hope everyone is healthy by now. Thanks for the visit.
ReplyDeleteNot at all what I usually find at your place here ... but I enjoyed the gallery tour. Sorry 'bout the "bug" and hope everybody is well or at least well on the way to well by now.
ReplyDeletehope all is fine in your blessed world .i enjoyed the visit to this rare looking place
ReplyDeletecool place. Love the images at the end with blurred folks on them :)
ReplyDeleteMy art apreciation class would love to visit there Stewart
ReplyDeleteThere is a lot of sickness around, hope everyone is better soon. That blurred people shot is rather ghostly and maybe appropriate for Canberra! Ho Ho Ha !

Hope everyone is feeling better ... I know being sick is not a happy time especially for children ... Be well soon.
ReplyDeleteI like your experiment with the people ... I think it works well though I might of interpreted it as a focus the many people who are enthralled with the art. The first "portrait" is fascinating. I wonder if the model really wanted his bones exposed ... no privacy any more :)

this was so enjoyable. I really like every single image.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I like them all. Especially the one with people (or their essence) standing in front of what I assume is the Grand Canyon.
