There has been a 'thing' doing the rounds of social media about posting a series of Black and White Images from you life / world.
I thought I'd post my images here as well, knowing that not everyone does the social media thing. These pictures were all taken on a phone and then converted to B/W. I thought that 'minimal gear' approach suited the 'this is my world' kind of feeling.

Not my 'normal' stuff - but about me none the less. SM

ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of mono - and of pattern, so the leaves, the broken window and the first of four windows really appeal to my eye! Good to reach outside the box, isn't it? &*> YAM xx
Interesting images!
ReplyDeleteThe two cat photos are my favorites
I'm glad you've posted in black and white. I used only to use black and white and print 'real' photos myself but haven't rally 'cracked' how to do it well digitally. The other day I was thinking perhaps I should pay some attention (!) to this, try to get better and to post more in monochrome. (I quite like a gentle sepia too.)
ReplyDeleteI do like B & W though I seldom use it! Great shots. Cheers Diane
ReplyDeleteLove the cats and the piggy in the tree.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the black and whites - especially the cat in the final photo.
ReplyDeleteGreat B&W photos. I participated in the B&W challenge on Facebook, but didn't think about posting them on my blog. Great idea!!
ReplyDeleteLove all of these Stewart!!! One of the things I really like about FB is being able to see glimpses into friends lives...near and far. It gives us the opportunity to meet and get to know people from all over the world...like meeting you!!! Aside from blogging, FB keeps us in touch with people all over making the world a smaller place, and allowing us to reconnect with people we knew way back when... Merry Christmas!!! We're having a bit of Australian Christmas weather this year! It's been in the 80's!!! (Farenheit)
ReplyDeleteI had my own off color post recently.
