Ancient Sky - with a flock of pigeons.

A quick thank you for all the comments over the last week - normal service is about to resume!

This is a shot I took at Stonehenge earlier in the year, and I really liked the flock of pigeons.  Unfortunately, they did just a single fly-past and headed for the horizon!

But I like it none the less.

You can find more skies and less pigeons (look at about 3 o'clock on the picture) at Skywatch Friday.

  9. This is absolutely my top bucket list destination! My husband was there in the 80s and got an great photo of Stonehenge with an airplane overhead...ancient and modern. It was very cool. Love your flock of pigeons and the flock of people opposite. Great photo!

I'm pretty sure I've told you before, but I'm in utter awe that you have time to do the blogging (and hosting, thank you very much) that you do in addition to being a dad and oh yeah, working for a living! Your comments when you have time are a delightful bonus and mean a great deal. Thanks for all you do.

  20. What a fabulous shot, the stones certainly hold as much magic and mystery now as they would have in days of old.
