A beach day

The next few days are forecast to be brutally hot - and on such days, relief can only be found by being underwater.  Having said that, the prospect of sunburn on the bald patch is never good.  I just can't seem to work out how to wear a hat while snorkelling!

The cool waters off the SE coast of Australia are full of life - it's just that much of it seems to swim off before I can press the shutter button!

You can find more pictures from around the world at Our World Tuesday.  SM

  2. I might imagine that happens; the fishes swim away, like the birds fly away ....underwater photography, you are using a special camera outfit for this obviously Stewart

  14. Wonderful underwater shots! If you figure out the hat problem, let me know. I've tried snorkeling with a hat on and (big surprise) it doesn't work well!

  19. That does look cool. I hope you enjoyed cooling off in it. Although I live on a beautiful coastline, you need to wear a wet suit to snorkel or scuba dive.
