Blue and Green

I'm slowly coming back to normal after Christmas and New Year.

I tried to get out for a walk most days, in a vain attempt to off-set the impact of the mince pies and cake!

I was rather taken by this contrasting blue and green scene - it's a bit of a combination between the Christmas trees I saw as a kid and the skies I see as an adult.

Anyway, its my contribution to Sky Watch Friday.

    I grew up with Blues and Greens ... it was my Mother's favorite color combination because, as she said, they are nature's colors. Every home I have lived in since as far back as I can remember was decorated in Blues and Greens ... and you know what, I never get tired of it. It is a beautiful combination and you have captured it perfectly in this picture.

    I'm with you, Stewart, trying to recoup from the holidays. Can't do too much walking because of the weather, but I find walking short distances in deep snow does the trick:) Be well ...

    That is a really striking color combination!

    Now, I need to get myself busy walking or something, too. We had our last "bad meal" yesterday and are determined to return to healthy eating and moving around more. Good for you!
